ANNOUNCEMENT
1) There will be practice tommorrow from 3:00pm
2) Sec 1e3 members need not attend this practice after their Metta Home Visit
3) The piece we are performing on AAC has been decided,
it would be Gloria Festiva remember to bring your scores.
4) Seniors maybe learning another song tommorrow if not later
5) Need not hurry to return the costumes but get them wash & cleaned

URGENT!
1) All members please be informed that tomorrow (24/07/07) is the last day for you to make payment for you Cultural Night T-shirt (Metamorphosis). Cost : $10
Lower Secondary members: Please pay to Ms Tang during your recess time.
Upper Secondary members: Please pass to me as early as possible tomorrow.
2) There is no practise tomorrow, Tuesday. (24/07/07)
3) Members who do not attend Thursday's practise (26/07/07) will be taken out of the concert.
4) Members who do not pass their hair and attire check on Saturday will not get to go on stage.
5) No watches, handphones or other items to be brought on stage.
6) You are advised to bring extra hair pins and gel/wax on Saturday
7) Girls take note: No big/dangling earings on stage.
8) Girls please get your own hair nets as soon as possible.
9) Girls: You know which hair pins are allowed, which are not, if your are buying please buy the correct one.

1) Please be informed that there will be no choir practise on Tuesday 17/07/07.
2) Audition is on for juniors who failed their previous audition and members who did not hit the expected 80% attendance.
Seniors who did not hit 80% attendance: William, SueYi, CheanPin, Syafiqah, Sharon, YiJun and Cecilia.
Juniors that passed their auditions in the first round: Perry, QiaoWen, JiaYu and Ezra.
3) Shoe rehearsal on Thursday 19/07/07. Girls:Court shoes. Boys:Black leather shoes and black sockes.
4) Pass your parental letters or Medical Certificates to your leaders asap. It is tiring to chase you for it at every practise.

Hey guys...Melina here.
I am here to nag at you guys again since i would not be meeting you all on tuesday...few important announcments for all members...
1) There will be NO practise on Tuesday 10/07/2007.
2) Please get you black court/leather shoes ready by 19/07/2007 as there will be a shoe rehearsal on that day.
3) If you were ever absent for any practises till this very day, you have to be ready with a parental letter or a MC. Do pass it to your leaders fast if not you get a 'zero' mark for that day's attendence and you may end up failling your attendence.
4) Practise resumes on Thursday. Be punctual! Practise starts at 3:30pm.
5) All members are to attend choir practise after your various enrichments has ended. Which includes: swimming enrichment and music enrichment.
6) Members who misses the combined practise, which is usually Thursdays, before any rehearsals or performances will not get to rehearse or perform on stage at the next practise or rehearsal.
7) Boys: black socks with black leather shoes...no white please!!!
8) Girls: The bun up hair is required for Metamorphorsis.
Other news:
1) We are not performing this year for our school's NDP celebration concert but we are still singing the school song.
2) End of this year we would probably guest perform in one of Ms Yee's choir concert.
3) Next year in term two we will have a combined concert with the school's chinese orchestra.
NOTE: Attend all practices as far as possible!!!

Dear Choir members please be informed of the following:
1) All members are to inform a leader if they are unable to make it on time for choir practices.
2) All members are responsible for their own sets of scores.
3) All members are to be PUNCTUAL and attend ALL practices unless there is a reason.
*Please take note that there will be a 'shoe rehearsal' on the 19/07/07 till further notice.

FREE Performance by ACJC Alumni and Choir
Date: Tue 3/ 7 and Wed 4/7

rules
Objectives:
* Cultivate an interest in choral singing,
* Develop a sense of teamwork,
* Develop a sense of belonging to choir,
* Maintain an acceptable attitude of discipline,
* Develop a sense of sportsmanship
Materials:
* ONE black folder (with refillable plastic sheets)
* Pen / pencil
* Water bottle
Rules:
1. Punctuality (15 min grace): late mark in attendance
2. Music Scores (20 cents/page if lost/ forgotten to bring)
3. Attendance
All official rehearsals, including sectionals (with or without instructor's presence) are counted in attendance.
* Absence from choir: - inform Section Leader, produce excuse letter / medical certificate by the next session
* Zero mark for absence, with or without valid reason
* Above 80% attendance per year before awarded CCA points
* 100% attendance of all pre-concert or SYF rehearsals before participation in actual event is allowed
Audition:
New members:
-Under probation and in JUNIOR CHOIR in the first year, will only advance to Senior Choir the following year if performance for the whole year is satisfactory
Sec 1-3's:
- required to obtain 80% or more attendance before being allowed to audition for any performance/ SYF
- required to pass audition before performance allowed
- Sec 4-5's: need not take audition ONLY IF 80% attendance achieved
Money matters:
-Hand-phone (Fine of $5.00 if it rings during practice),
double payment for Committee member
-Choir fund
