All members do take note that there will be practices on 17th and 18th December from 10am to 1pm. Do inform me if you are unable to make it. Do remember there will still be other practices not just for the above two dates only. Thanks.

YO guys and girls
there will be no practice for this wk
due to the fact that we are to near the exam venue
of O levels
and for the fact that we may not be able to control the volume
and so thus the answer to these problems
is for us to cancel our practices this week
practice resumes during holi
and do rmb to check the choir blog often
for latest details on the holi practices
and also listen out to announcements during assembly
this are the current practice days and dates:
1/11 Thurs & 13/11 Tues
2.30pm-5.30pm
20/11 Tues & 23/11 Fri
9am-12pm
once again breakfast and lunch will not be provided -.-

YOz all
some update on tml's session but i doubt anyone will see it
oh well i'll just do it for my part
1)please inform Melina by tml of your holiday schedule
if your going overseas be it Malaysia (i think)
before practice starts tml
2)all must be punctual tml as

3pm!!! so all must not be late for it!!!
3)tml's also the last chance to surrender all MC or parent's letter

There will be no choir practice this thursday 11/10/07
Practice shall resume on next tuesday 16/10/07.
Do remember to go through the songs whenever you have time

OBEY THEM ~
rules
Objectives:
* Cultivate an interest in choral singing,
* Develop a sense of teamwork,
* Develop a sense of belonging to choir,
* Maintain an acceptable attitude of discipline,
* Develop a sense of sportsmanship
Materials:
* ONE black folder (with refillable plastic sheets)
* Pen / pencil
* Water bottle
Rules:
1. Punctuality (15 min grace): late mark in attendance
2. Music Scores (20 cents/page if lost/ forgotten to bring)
3. Attendance
All official rehearsals, including sectionals (with or without instructor's presence) are counted in attendance.
* Absence from choir: - inform Section Leader, produce excuse letter / medical certificate by the next session
* Zero mark for absence, with or without valid reason
* Above 80% attendance per year before awarded CCA points
* 100% attendance of all pre-concert or SYF rehearsals before participation in actual event is allowed
Audition:
New members:
-Under probation and in JUNIOR CHOIR in the first year, will only advance to Senior Choir the following year if performance for the whole year is satisfactory
Sec 1-3's:
- required to obtain 80% or more attendance before being allowed to audition for any performance/ SYF
- required to pass audition before performance allowed
- Sec 4-5's: need not take audition ONLY IF 80% attendance achieved
Money matters:
-Hand-phone (Fine of $5.00 if it rings during practice),
double payment for Committee member
-Choir fund
