This is abit late but then..
Altos, i'm sorry the MP3 files for 'Nina Bobok' is not up here as the CDs are in the cupboard. So, please make an effort to practise at least once before tomorrow's practise.
All Sec2-5 members please take note, practise tomorrow. Boys to be in Multi Purpose Room by 3pm and girls 3.30pm. 'All I Ask Of You' and the chinese song are to be memorised, do not be late tomorrow! Combine practise with the Chinese Orcherstra tomorrow. P.S. don't throw my face on the ground please. :P

Ok lah, only 2... Too lazy to update them. Hahaha.. Dont feel so sian about concerts k? Always recall you previous concerts it'll keep you going! Well, it works for me.

HELLOOOO! Maria here to blog. Duh. Haha. Can anyone change skin?! To something like mine? Cos this box thing is veryyyyy small! Ya lor... Or you can give me the permission to change it since I have the time and need not go to school :PPPP

Anyway, some good news! Our dear ex-chairman, Belinda scored 8 distinctions for her O levels!! Well, just an inspiration to you all.. Hmm, I also did ok ok lah. Haha. Didnt fail any subjects, got only 1 dist, the rest Bs with a pass in Chinese! Hope I'm a inspiration to you too!! -__- Do continue the choir history by topping the school! :D Since I was in sec1, the choir members have been doing us proud. So current sec4s, JIAYOU!!! :D
Ok, enough said. lazy to post more photos. Oh, practice hard for your March concert! Woot! I LOVE CONCERTS! So jealous you all can sing so many songs. Hmph :P Don't skip practices too hor! Or I'll haunt you! MUAHAHHAHAHA!
Hmmm, looking at the videos, should we trying singing our school song in our mother tongue, backwards? ;) Inside joke, only choir members know!
Announcement:
1. All members to be at level two tomorrow and be in the classroom assigned by either QiaoWen or Shaun by 10.10am.
2. Attendence is compulsory unless there is valid reason.
3. Memebers who owe your leaders MCs or parental letters, please give tomorrow, or at least by next week, attendence has just been requested by teachers. We are tabulating now.
4. 'All i ask of you' and your individual all girls' and all boys' song to be memorised by next practise. (Tuesday)

Take note:
1. A very big Thank You for all that have made the Sec1 CCA Showcase possible, those who took time out to help out and those who wished to help out too.
2. Practise coming tuesday, 3.30pm to 6pm. Check the notice board frequently for updates.
3. Start memorising all the songs.
4. All that will not be in Singapore during the CNY period inform me by Tuesday. Thanks.

All members please take note that choir practice resumes tomorrow. 3.30pm at Multi-Purpose Room. Please be punctual. Whether there will be practise on Thursday depends on tomorrow's practise.
Members who missed practices during the holiday please by ready with your medical certificates or parental letter. Remember that attendance is taken into considerations for choosing of leaders and whether you have a chance to perform in the combine concert with the Chinese Orchestra.
Alto girls, please bush up your all girls' song by tomorrow's practise. Thankzxs.

rules
Objectives:
* Cultivate an interest in choral singing,
* Develop a sense of teamwork,
* Develop a sense of belonging to choir,
* Maintain an acceptable attitude of discipline,
* Develop a sense of sportsmanship
Materials:
* ONE black folder (with refillable plastic sheets)
* Pen / pencil
* Water bottle
Rules:
1. Punctuality (15 min grace): late mark in attendance
2. Music Scores (20 cents/page if lost/ forgotten to bring)
3. Attendance
All official rehearsals, including sectionals (with or without instructor's presence) are counted in attendance.
* Absence from choir: - inform Section Leader, produce excuse letter / medical certificate by the next session
* Zero mark for absence, with or without valid reason
* Above 80% attendance per year before awarded CCA points
* 100% attendance of all pre-concert or SYF rehearsals before participation in actual event is allowed
Audition:
New members:
-Under probation and in JUNIOR CHOIR in the first year, will only advance to Senior Choir the following year if performance for the whole year is satisfactory
Sec 1-3's:
- required to obtain 80% or more attendance before being allowed to audition for any performance/ SYF
- required to pass audition before performance allowed
- Sec 4-5's: need not take audition ONLY IF 80% attendance achieved
Money matters:
-Hand-phone (Fine of $5.00 if it rings during practice),
double payment for Committee member
-Choir fund
